Evaluating media work
It takes persistence, commitment, time (and a bit of luck) to make PR and marketing work pay off for your charity. Evaluation is vital if you want to improve your media skills and make your next media campaign even more successful. Can you identify which of your media activities were most successful? Have you recruited the volunteers you wanted?
You need to plan for your evaluation from the outset. Although it's near impossible to measure the effect of all your media activity, this section will give you some hints and ideas about how you can show what your volunteer recruitment campaign is achieving.
