Campaign message: "Make your mark on the environment"

Aim: To recruit young volunteers aged 16-25 who are interested in improving their local environment.

How many people involved: 1 (supported by project partners' communications steering group)

Launched: June 2007

Online activity: SITA Trust, V, BTCV and The Wildlife Trusts came together to create GreenPrints - a campaign to encourage young people to get involved in conservation volunteering. The focus of their volunteer recruitment is the launch of a website (www.greenprints.org.uk) which is designed to "engage and inspire young people".

PR work: The BBC Breathing Places campaign is a partner in the project and they have committed to feature GreenPrints in local radio and TV programming. This coverage will focus on "case studies of inspirational, youth led projects" which GreenPrints have funded and nurtured.

GreenPrints is also relying on spreading the word about the campaign via the partner organisations' established websites and networks.

Outside agencies involved: Website developed by Nameless. Branding and design by Sore Thumb
